Lost and Found

Have you ever lost something so important to you and taught you would never find it. Well for one lucky couple something very similar took place.

On a cold brisk day in winter Samantha Hayes went for a walk down the promenade for some time to reflect on the tragic event that had just taken place in her life.

As she was sitting on a bench holding a cup of coffee to keep warm she removed one of her gloves not realizing her 18 century old engagement ring came off with it. As she reached into her bag to grab a tissue she saw her engagement ring fly up into the air and into the water.

Unlike most people Samantha didn’t panic she quickly picked up her cell and phoned her husband who immediately came to search for the ring.

2 days and rented metal detectors latter the couple decided to call off there search and wait with hope till the weather became nicer and they would search again.

To there very dismay 2 weeks latter they saw a commercial for a guy named Chris Turner who calls him self the “treasure finder.”

This man owns a unique business where his mission is to find other treasures which have been lost. Chris however will only accept payment on a donation passes giving half of the proceeds to With nothing to lose.

On March 1st turner arrived at the home of the couple with his equipment in hand. He truly hoped to help the couple find love beloved engagement ring.

Despite the fact that the engagement ring had already been missing for 2 months Turner had very high hopes and with in 15min. the ring was found.

The couple was thrilled they honestly taught they would never have seen the ring again and had already filed a claim with there insurance company.

Turner says that this happens to alot of people and he is thrilled to be able to give them a second chance with beloved jewels.
