Men stand trial for targeting women with rings
On Wednesday Shirley Espy along with 3 other victims told there story of being robbed to a jury.
“I was heart broken” Epsy says. She tells the jury about how she was just meeting a friend and a coffee shop after her bible study grope and after they were through she was walking back to her car to pick up her 8 year old boys from school.
When a man came up from behind her placed a gun to her stomach and said you scream and I will kill you. These men walked away with her 3 carat diamond engagement ring, as well as her platinum and diamond wedding band worth a total of $60,000.
One of the 2 men who are standing trail agreed to pleed guilty to the charges which will be reduced to robbery since he agreed to testify against the other guilty person.
This second thief however will not be so lucky he chose to rob a 2 ladies in 2 different publix parking lots. He made away with one ladies purse and the other ladies 11,000 diamond ring. However with great thanks to publix there are security vedio’s that clearly show the mans face.
