Sox return home has a nice “ring” to it.

David Ortiz has a ring so big and blocky and shiny that friends assume it’s a World Series ring. It’s not.

The real thing he says is only worn on special occasions. “I was wearing it one time and a fan here in Boston grabbed my hand and almost broke my finger.”

The Sox’s definitely didn’t hold back a bit when giving out 500 rings for 2004. A ruby “B” was bedecked with 14 large diamonds and another 5 smaller diamondsto give the ring more bling.

Rings Stolen in Burglary

The break in happened in Bessingby Road, Bridlington during broad daylight between the hours of 10am and 3pm, where burglars made an untidy search of the house before stealing the jewellery.

Out of 6 items 3 engagement rings were stolen 1 which featured a flower design formed out of a ruby and diamonds, a man’s gold dress ring and a gold eternity ring with rubbies embedded in half  the band.

Among those items there were also a gold engagement ring, this one with blue sapphires surrounding a diamond, a gold eternity ring, with raised blue sapphires covering half the band and a gold chain.

Nothing else but these items where believed to have been taken.

It’s no surprise that Jamie Lynn Spears amt up her own engagement rumors buy flaunting her diamond engagement ring.

However while Jamie Lynn took no problem in flaunting her ring; but when it came time to confirm the rumors she wouldn’t do such a thing.

If Jamie Lynn’s ring is turley an engagement ring than why is she wearing it on the wrong hand?

Celebrity jeweler Cynthia Wolf who designed older sister Brittany’s engagement ring says “it looks like a round diamond very 1980’s, with a yellow gold band. It looks like a wedding set with two different bands.”

Cynthia estimates that the ring is only about a half carat and probably cost between 8,000 and 10,000 if it was custom made; but if bought off the shelf it could cost much much less.

Worlds Smallest Diamond

At a Meir 5 micrometers across and 300 nanometers thick, this diamondring is unlikely to fit on anyone’s finger. However this ring was designed to attempt to help scientist build powerful computers that use the properties of quantum physics.

“For quantum information processing diamondstruly have some unique possibilities,” said Steven Prawer.

Building a quantum computers have enormous challenges and diamondsmaybe able to help over come some of those challenges that scientist will face.
