College Students Get Swayed with ‘Ring by Spring’
Thursday, May 15th, 2008‘Ring by Spring’ has been affected by colleges all over, now. College girls eagerly go around flaunting their new engagement rings to their classmates. ‘Ring by Spring’ is a term made up to define the large amount of seniors in a rush to get engaged by spring quarter.
Students go around campus doing a “ring check” before deciding what type of ring they would like for themselves. ‘Ring by Spring’ was originally started by christian universities but, are now nationwide.
These days there are girls who apply to college just to find a suitable husband and to get a useless degree. Other girls choose to go to colleges that are mainly populated by potential husbands such as, Industrial Technology or Mechanical Engineering, and shortly afterwards they drop out, simply to expand their chances in meeting a guy.
The smarter of the students have a promise ring, which is not as expensive as a real engagement ring, in case something happens before they plan a marriage post graduation. Many students rush into getting engaged and then lose out on being able to have a girl’s night out, or get to feel young and carefree because they simply isolate themselves from all the single students who are in no rush.
