Rumors say that Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen is engaged to her prince Tom Brady. But, after being spotted on Beacon Street with no sparkly engagement ring yesterday, it’s hard to believe it’s really true.

Several hours after it had been reported that Tom popped the big question on a private Christmas Eve flight to Boston, the cheerful couple exited his Back Bay townhouse with Gisele’s parents.

As Brady was questioned about the engagement ring, he “politely” smirked and stepped into the Town car, joining the ring-less Gisele and her parents, Vania and Valdir.

When Tom had asked Gisele to be his wife, the celebrity web site alleges that he had four-dozen white roses, champagne and his inamorata’s parents aboard the same private jet they were on. TMZ sources said that prior to popping the question, Brady seemed to be somewhat jittery. As for Gisele, being caught off-guard, she immediately said yes.

Though, Gisele’s twin sister, Patricia, completely denied the entire thing and said that TMZ’s story was “not true.”

    

Nonetheless, it could be that Tom is keeping his exciting news to himself so that he doesn’t distract his team, which has a do-or-die game against the Buffalo Bills tomorrow.

Yesterday, Tom had spent several hours in the morning at the Gillette Stadium training room, where, it was overheard that there was no back-slapping or congratulations from the other players on the team. Wanting to leave the workout room, Tom popped his head out of the room and quickly recoiled when noticing the mass media in the locker room.

Rumors of wedding bells are no news. A couple days ago there was gossip that the duo would wed at Gisele’s retreat in Costa Rica in March.

Earlier in the month, when Brady and Gisele were ring shopping, he intended on buying her a huge piece of bling, but the supermodel said she would prefer something “antique-looking and understated.”

In Touch Weekly rumored that right before his first knee surgery in October, Tom walked into chi-chi Cartier in Beverly Hills to check out a $145,000 five-carat yellow diamond engagement ring, which they believed was scarcely understated.

PEOPLE confirms the wedding of Fergie, aka Stacey Ferguson and Josh Duhamel on Saturday, under magnolia trees filled with thousands of white roses.

Tying the knot at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu, thirty-three year old, Black Eyed Peas singer was wearing a Dolce & Gabbana gown, while walking down the isle with thirty-six year old actor, Josh Duhamel.

As the duo exchanged H. Stern rings engraved with personal messages, Fergie carried a bouquet of white flowers studded with crystals. In addition, ten bridesmaids were dressed in black.

               

Fergie had a uniquely designed engagement ring that featured a 4-carat brilliant cut diamond set amongst other diamonds. A thin diamond wedding band completed the ring. Duhamel’s ring was made of white gold with a brushed finish.

Followed by the ceremony was a reception in a tent decorated as a forest of trees with the ceiling covered in lights.

The invited guests to the wedding included new parents Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’ Connell, Mario Lopez, Stacy Keibler, Kid Rock, Slash, Kate Hudson, (Fergie’s coster in her upcoming movie Nine), the members of Black Eyed Peas along with Will.i.am, and Duhamel’s Los Vegas costers James Caan, Molly Sims, and Vanessa Marcil. 

In addition, Duhamel’s Family was expected, who flew in from his home state, North Dakota. A friend of the couple added in, “His family is so excited. They really love Fergie and are so happy to welcome her to the family.”

A source stated that Fergie has been working so hard on preparations for the wedding that she “has lost all the weight. She looked amazing.” 

The wedding kicked off Wednesday night with a joint bachelor-bachelorette party at the newly opened Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica. After that was a Hawaiian-themed rehearsel dinner on Friday.

Mario Lopez, who shared his first kiss with Fergie as kids and later became very close friends with the singer said, “Josh is a great guy. They will be great together.”

As Beyonce leaves the recent Fashion Rocks event in New York City, people seemed to be eyeing the huge stud on her finger, rather than the superstar herself.

Although it has not caught people’s attention that she was not wearing a wedding ring in previous occasions, lately Peaches looks like she is making an effort to be seen wearing different rings. It seems like she is trying to make it appear as a symbol of her shocking wedding earlier this month in LA.

However, watching her husband perform with his band N*E*R*D at London’s Astoria last night, Peaches was wearing no ring at all on her finger, going back to her old ways.

At last, the pair had a photo taken of them together with their arms linked while leaving the place later that night, except neither was smiling.

After eight days of being apart the couple finally had a chance to spend some time together on Tuesday.

For a couple that had just gotten married, Peaches and Max Drummey look very somber leaving the concert that night.

After only four weeks together, the couple were wed in an infamous Little White Chapel. The ceremony lasted just fifteen minutes with barely one witness to it.

Rumors were out claiming the wedding was just an act to support Drummey’s band, who are about to make public a new album.

Peaches’ agent had released a statement confirming that the couple had wed with the full support of family and friends.

There are references, which state that Drummey is using marriage to enhance his career.

Pixie, seventeen, Peaches’ younger sister is very concerned about her sisters marriage and future.

The well-known singer, Bob, Peaches father was initially thought to disapprove of hos daughters wedding, but out of no choice, he is ready to support his daughter in whatever decision she makes.

As much as Mariah has been planning a surprise, reports have gotten one step ahead of her by discovering her plans for a $4 million wedding ceremony to celebrate her marriage to the rapper, Nick Cannon.

The JCK Harrison Group consumer jewelry study has recently been asked an interesting question, only to have a very shocking response. “Thinking about fine jewelry, what brand or company that makes and/or sells jewelry comes to mind first?”, was the question that was asked. The very surprising response was Zales as the No. 1 jewelry brand. Next came Kay Jewelers, which tied in with Zales and Tiffany & Co.  in the past.

The study gained 908 responds from people who bought fine jewelry in the past two years. Even after advertising jewelry for a decade, most jewelry buyers still have retail as their first thought, instead of the product by brand.

57% of the responds wrote the names of local independent jewelers, regional chains, websites, or brands, but non were good enough to make the top ten on the list.

Tiffany scored No. 3 in the top ten and Cartier was No. 8. Both companies also have very strong retail mechanism.

A JCK study done in 1999 posed a question on how familiar people are with brands. They had four top answers, which included Tiffany, Cartier, De Beers and Van Cleef & Arpels.

The study resulted in 42% of respondents being “very familiar” with Tiffany, 35.5% very familiar with Cartier and 20.6% with De Beers.

Since the study in 1999 there have been much more jewelry advertising pages in consumer fashion, lifestyle and shelter magazines. Hence, brands like Heart On Fire and Scott Kay were expected to be mentioned in unaided recall. But there were only five top names- Zales, Kay, Tiffany, Jared and De Beers- that remained the same.

Prices have become another issue to the consumer world with Blue Nile and other jewelry websites raising their costs. Such websites happen to have lower prices than jewelry stores, for competition causes. When consumers actually buy from jewelers they expect a valid reason as to why they should pay jewelers more than websites.

The study concluded by saying that jewelry retailers should be pleased to know that retailers still have the upper hand in fine jewelry.   Â
